MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Placitas, NM, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and provided with tailored referrals to a variety of effective weight management services. We offer a range of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for remote support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-guided management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing challenges despite engaging with the program.
