MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Pueblo Of Acoma, NM, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission focuses on screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing personalized referrals to appropriate weight management services, and offering a range of treatment options tailored to individual needs. Participants can benefit from various programs, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for at-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options.
