MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Ruidoso, NM, is dedicated to empowering Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of Veterans by providing tailored support for addressing obesity and improving overall health. We strive to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually and connect them with appropriate weight management resources. Our diverse offerings include group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer self-directed options, we offer the MOVE! Coach mobile app. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight management. To participate in MOVE!, Veterans can reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to initiate their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
