The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Sandia Park, NM, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of food advocates who champion a just and sustainable food system. Through a six-month, hands-on training at the Allegheny Farm, Fellows gain valuable education in organic farming, food justice, and ecological practices—fully funded to ensure accessibility for all applicants. Our program empowers participants to engage with local partners, grow and distribute diverse crops, and enhance community health through educational initiatives. Throughout their journey, Fellows will support school gardens, contribute to farmers markets, and mentor emerging advocates, all while working towards increased access to nutritious food within their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience taking place from May to October.
