MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Sandia Park, NM, through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. We strive to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. Our program offers various options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! service that provides in-home messaging and clinician contact as required. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, as well as access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing significant challenges despite prior efforts. To get started with MOVE!, Veterans are encouraged to speak with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider for support on their weight loss journey.
