MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Santa Fe, NM, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to support Veterans by screening for obesity annually at VA facilities and connecting them with personalized weight management services. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which combines in-home messaging with clinician support. For those who prefer to take control of their journey independently, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides the tools needed for self-management. Additionally, we facilitate access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not met their goals with initial interventions.
