The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Santa Rosa, NM, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Through an accessible, tuition-free program, Fellows receive comprehensive education in organic food systems, engaging in hands-on experiences that include growing diversified crops and implementing innovative health care educational sessions. Participants also have the opportunity to maintain community gardens, enhance food and ecological literacy in schools, support farmers markets, and develop critical distribution channels for healthy food access. The Fellowship consists of a six-month experiential training at our campus, followed by a Community Action Year, where selected Fellows collaboratively implement their skills in partnership with local non-profits to drive impactful change in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the experience scheduled from May to October.
