MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Santa Teresa, NM, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and directed towards tailored weight management services that align with their individual needs. We offer a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with overweight or weight-related issues. Interested Veterans can connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
