Located in Socorro, NM, UNM Truman Health Services is dedicated to offering compassionate, confidential care tailored to the needs of the transgender community, gender non-conforming individuals, and those living with HIV, AIDS, or Hepatitis C. Our team of experienced doctors, nurses, and behavioral health specialists provides a comprehensive range of services, including transgender health and wellness, as well as HIV and Hepatitis C testing and treatment. In addition to primary care, we offer essential case management support to assist participants in navigating health insurance and financial resources. We accept Medicare and Medicaid, and provide free rapid HIV testing during designated hours. While there is currently a waitlist for transgender health services, all other services are readily accessible to meet urgent healthcare needs.
