The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Tijeras, NM, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable and equitable food systems. Through an accessible, no-cost training program, we empower Fellows to become advocates for agricultural practices that are socially, environmentally, and economically just. Our Fellowship blends hands-on experience on a market-style farm with vital outreach initiatives, allowing participants to grow and distribute diverse crops, foster community gardens, and innovate health education sessions. Additionally, we guide our Fellows in integrating food and ecological literacy into educational settings while actively supporting local farmers markets and enhancing access to healthy foods throughout the region. Over six months of immersive, residential training at our farm campus, followed by a year of impactful community engagement with regional non-profits, we cultivate a network of compassionate advocates committed to transforming our food systems for the better. Applications are accepted until March each year, with program experiences running from May to October.
