The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Tohatchi, NM, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our Fellowship provides a transformative six-month, experiential learning opportunity, offering comprehensive organic food system education without tuition barriers. Selected Fellows immerse themselves at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they collaborate on a market-style farm to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health care educational sessions, maintain community gardens, and teach food and ecological literacy. Fellows also play a vital role in supporting farmers markets and developing distribution channels that enhance access to healthy foods. After their residency, these passionate individuals take their skills into the community during a year of impactful action, partnering with local non-profits to further their mission. Applications are accepted until March each year, with experiences typically running from May to October.
