The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Tularosa, NM, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Through a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm, Fellows gain comprehensive training in organic food systems, empowering them to grow and distribute a variety of crops, implement educational programs in innovative healthcare, maintain community gardens, and integrate food literacy into educational activities. This hands-on fellowship not only enhances food access and supports local farmers markets but also fosters collaboration with regional nonprofits to enact real change. We believe in making our program accessible to all, with no tuition fees, ensuring that passionate individuals can serve as catalysts for sustainable agricultural practices and community resilience. Applications are accepted until March each year for the program running from May to October.
