MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Vado, NM, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to provide personalized support by annually screening each Veteran who receives care at VA facilities for obesity and offering tailored treatment options that address their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home support with clinician contact as needed. The MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans who prefer to manage their weight independently, while additional avenues like weight loss medications and bariatric surgery are available for those who have not achieved success with our main program.
