UNM Truman Health Services, located in Vado, NM, is dedicated to providing compassionate and confidential care for transgender individuals, those who are gender non-conforming, and individuals living with HIV, AIDS, or Hepatitis C. Our comprehensive services include thorough testing, treatment, and primary care, tailored to meet the unique needs of our community. Our experienced team of doctors, nurses, and behavioral health specialists offers transgender health and wellness programs, rapid HIV testing and prevention, and effective Hepatitis C treatment. Participants can also benefit from supportive case management to assist with health insurance and financial aid. We accept Medicare and Medicaid, and our rapid HIV testing is offered for free during designated hours each week. While there is currently a waitlist for transgender health services, we are committed to ensuring all other services are readily available, prioritizing the health and well-being of every individual who walks through our doors.
