MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Yatahey, NM, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission focuses on actively screening every Veteran at VA facilities for obesity and referring them to a variety of treatment options that meet their individual needs and preferences. We offer a comprehensive suite of services, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home support through messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-directed management, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is an excellent resource. We also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need additional assistance despite participating in MOVE!.
