About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Zuni, NM, we are dedicated to cultivating a just and equitable food system through our comprehensive training and immersive experiences. Our Fellows are empowered to become passionate advocates and teachers in the quest for socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable food practices. Through hands-on education, Fellows engage in organic food system training, work with diverse crops on a market-style farm, and lead initiatives that enhance food literacy in communities. They collaborate with local non-profits to implement educational programs, maintain community gardens, and support direct-to-consumer food networks, all aimed at increasing access to healthy foods. With no tuition fees, we ensure that the Fellowship is accessible to all, inspiring the next generation of food system leaders. The journey begins with a six-month residency at our Zuni Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year that allows Fellows to apply their knowledge in real-world settings. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
