Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children up to age five in New York, NY. Through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program, WIC provides essential resources such as personalized nutrition education, health screenings, breastfeeding support, and referrals to additional health and social services. Our aim is to ensure every participant receives nutritious food tailored to their unique needs, fostering a healthier community. Eligibility for WIC is often streamlined for those already enrolled in Medicaid, TANF, or SNAP, making access to care simple and immediate. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently offering all services over the phone to prioritize safety while ensuring continued support for families in need.
