The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Albany, OR, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. This transformative program empowers Fellows through hands-on training in areas such as organic agriculture, food justice, and ecological literacy, equipping them to advocate for a food system that promotes social, environmental, and economic equity. Over the course of six months at our experiential Farm and Food Study, selected participants engage in practical learning and collaborate with local non-profits to foster community initiatives, including the development of community gardens, farmers markets, and health education sessions. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility to ensure passionate individuals can join us in this critical work. Applications are accepted until March each year, and the Fellowship runs from May to October, culminating in a Community Action Year where Fellows can apply their skills to real-world challenges.
