Located in Astoria, OR, Independent Living is dedicated to empowering individuals with high-functioning autism through tailored residential programs designed to foster independence and life skills. Our participants reside in smart homes equipped with advanced assistive technology, sharing spaces with one or two others to promote a supportive community. Our program offers personalized support services and a variety of training opportunities focused on essential life skills such as meal planning, cooking, budgeting, and cleaning, coupled with socialization activities. Participants also receive assistance with anxiety management and access to counseling services, enhancing their emotional well-being. Whether living in our specially outfitted homes or in their own residences, participants have the opportunity to progress through our tiered program as they gain confidence and independence in their everyday lives.
