About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Bandon, OR, we are dedicated to cultivating the next generation of food advocates and educators committed to building a just and sustainable food system. Our program empowers participants through hands-on training and immersive experiences, which includes organic farming practices, food and ecological literacy, and community engagement initiatives. Fellows receive comprehensive education without tuition fees to ensure accessibility and inclusivity, enabling them to lead impactful projects such as growing diversified crops, managing community gardens, and supporting farmers markets. Over the six-month Farm and Food Study at our campus, and during the subsequent Community Action Year, our Fellows work closely with local non-profits to promote healthy food access and foster community resilience. Applications are welcomed each year until March, with the fellowship running from May to October, providing a unique opportunity to make a difference in the food sector.
