Cure Hunger, a vital program of The Salvation Army Tualatin Valley Citadel, is dedicated to providing food assistance to individuals and families in Beaverton, OR. Our mission is to combat hunger by offering a welcoming food pantry and community meals that serve everyone in need. We’re here to ensure that those facing food insecurity have access to nutritious daily sack lunches, essential food items, bread, and hygiene products. Our food pantry is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, where we also provide pre-made food boxes. In response to COVID-19, we prioritize safety by serving one family at a time, and we offer grab-and-go sack lunches specifically for our community members experiencing homelessness. Each individual or family seeking help will receive support tailored to their unique needs, reflecting our commitment to care and urgency in meeting food insecurity in our community.
