Oregon WIC, located in Bend, OR, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children from birth to five years of age. Our mission focuses on providing essential nutrition education, supplemental foods, and comprehensive breastfeeding support, ensuring that parents have access to the resources they need for their families' well-being. In response to the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, we continue to offer services through remote appointments, ensuring the safety and convenience of our clients. Oregon WIC has broadened eligibility criteria to include individuals affected by the pandemic, along with enhancements to the approved food list, making it easier for families to access the nourishment they need.
