Oregon WIC in Boring, OR, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our multifaceted program offers vital resources including nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding promotion, and referrals for health care services. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we have adapted our services to ensure safety, providing remote appointments via phone, email, and video chat. Additionally, we have broadened the eligibility criteria to accommodate those affected by the pandemic and expanded the range of food items eligible for purchase with WIC funds.
