Oregon Project Independence (OPI) is dedicated to empowering individuals in Brookings, OR, aged 60 and over, as well as those living with dementia or disabilities, to maintain their independence while receiving essential support. Our mission is to ensure that seniors can live safely and comfortably in their homes through a comprehensive range of services including personal care assistance, home care, chore services, and adult day care. We also provide respite care, skilled nursing care, and home-delivered meals to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our services are designed to be accessible, with costs determined by a Sliding Scale Fee Schedule based on household income and medical expenses. To access our services, individuals simply request assistance and a trained staff member from the Area Agency on Aging will conduct an in-home assessment to understand specific needs and eligibility. We are here to help create personalized care plans that truly fit the unique circumstances of each person we serve, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.
