MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Clatskanie, OR, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and given access to tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs. We offer a variety of options, such as group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program which facilitates in-home support and messaging from clinicians. For those who prefer self-directed paths, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we provide weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need more intensive treatment after participating in MOVE!. Interested Veterans are encouraged to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
