The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Cornelius, OR, is dedicated to fostering a just food system by sponsoring and empowering individuals to become advocates for social, environmental, and economic justice in agriculture. Our program combines hands-on education in organic food systems with practical experience, providing participants with the tools to grow diversified crops, manage community gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy in schools. Throughout a transformative six-month fellowship at our training campus, followed by a year of community action, Fellows actively engage with local non-profits to enhance food accessibility, support farmers markets, and develop innovative health programs. We strive to make this fellowship accessible by not charging tuition, ensuring that passionate individuals can join us in this impactful journey. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
