The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Corvallis, OR, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators who champion a just food system that prioritizes social equity, environmental sustainability, and economic viability. Through hands-on training and a comprehensive curriculum, our selected Fellows engage in a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm, where they learn about organic food systems, community gardens, and food literacy. Additionally, our participants collaborate with regional non-profits during their Community Action Year to promote food assistance initiatives, develop innovative health care education, and enhance access to healthy foods through farmers markets and other distribution programs. By eliminating tuition costs, we ensure that our Fellowship is accessible to all passionate individuals looking to make a meaningful impact. Applications are accepted until March of each year for the program running from May to October.
