About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Creswell, OR is dedicated to empowering the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through comprehensive training that emphasizes organic food system education, our Fellows engage in hands-on experiences that prepare them to lead initiatives that are socially, environmentally, and economically beneficial. This immersive program is offered at no cost, promoting accessibility and inclusivity. Over a transformative six-month residency at our farm, Fellows learn to cultivate diverse crops, manage community gardens, and support farmers markets while integrating food and ecological literacy into local education. Following their training, each Fellow enters a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to implement innovative health care solutions and enhance access to nutritious food. Applications are accepted until March each year for a fellowship experience from May to October, fostering both personal growth and community development in the heart of Oregon.
