Located in Creswell, Oregon, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity, with tailored referrals to weight management services that suit their individual needs and preferences. We offer diverse care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative telehealth services through TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management, and for those who may need additional assistance, we provide weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery after exploring other options. To participate in MOVE!, Veterans are encouraged to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider and take the first step towards a healthier life.
