Oregon WIC, located in Damascus, OR, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our comprehensive Women, Infants, and Children Supplemental Food Program offers vital services including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for essential healthcare. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure safety, providing remote WIC appointments through phone calls, emails, and video chats. Additionally, we have expanded enrollment eligibility to support those affected by COVID-19, as well as broadened the range of items eligible for purchase with WIC funds.
