The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Eagle Point, OR, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, our Fellows learn to advocate for a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. This unique fellowship encompasses organic agriculture education, where participants engage in growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining community gardens, and conducting innovative health education. Our Fellows support local farmers' markets and direct-to-consumer programs while collaborating with community organizations to enhance access to healthy foods. Without tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility and inclusivity in our program. A transformative six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus is followed by a Community Action Year, empowering Fellows to implement their skills and knowledge within local non-profits.
