The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Estacada, OR empowers individuals to become advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social equity, environmental stewardship, and economic sustainability. Our program provides a transformative experience through comprehensive organic food system education, mentorship, and hands-on training. Fellows engage in meaningful work such as growing and distributing diverse crops, facilitating educational sessions on innovative health care solutions, maintaining community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy into local schools. By promoting initiatives like farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs, we enhance access to healthy foods within our region. Selected Fellows participate in a six-month residential experience at our farm, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge in collaboration with local non-profits. We prioritize accessibility by not charging tuition for our program, ensuring that everyone committed to creating a better food future can participate.
