The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Gladstone, OR, cultivates a new generation of leaders dedicated to achieving a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. This innovative program offers aspiring fellows comprehensive training and hands-on experience in organic farming and sustainable practices, enabling them to become effective advocates and educators within their communities. Without any tuition fees, we ensure that the fellowship remains accessible to all. During their six-month experiential training at our farm campus, fellows will engage in activities that include growing diverse crops, implementing health education programs, maintaining community and school gardens, and promoting food literacy initiatives. Following their immersive training, fellows will embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with regional non-profit organizations to apply their skills and knowledge for greater access to healthy food. Applications are accepted annually until March, with the fellowship running from May to October.
