About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Gresham, OR, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, we empower fellows to become effective teachers and advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program offers accessible, tuition-free organic food system education, allowing participants to engage in diverse initiatives such as growing and distributing crops, implementing health education sessions, and supporting community gardens. Fellows also play a vital role in mentoring, developing direct-to-consumer programs, and enhancing food access through community collaborations. This immersive six-month fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year, where graduates apply their skills within local non-profits, fostering impactful change in the food landscape of the region. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March for a transformative experience that runs from May to October.
