Oregon WIC in Happy Valley is dedicated to supporting the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program, we promote healthy food habits by providing essential nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals to healthcare services. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure safety, offering WIC appointments via phone, email, and video chat, while expanding eligibility criteria to assist those affected by the crisis. Our commitment is to empower families to thrive through accessible food assistance and nurturing support.
