In Hermiston, Oregon, the Home Delivered Meal Program by the Community Action Program of East Central Oregon (CAPECO) addresses the urgent need for food assistance among those who are homebound due to illness, disability, or isolation. We deliver nutritious hot and frozen meals seven days a week, ensuring that every participant receives not just balanced nutrition but also a friendly conversation from our dedicated volunteer drivers. While we encourage contributions to help sustain the program, we are committed to never denying services to anyone aged 60 and older based on their ability to pay.
