Located in Independence, Oregon, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities receives annual screening for obesity and is connected to effective weight management options that suit their unique needs. We offer a variety of assistance, including group sessions, personalized telephone coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing weight challenges.
