Oregon WIC in Independence, OR, is dedicated to nurturing healthy habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years of age. Our program offers essential food assistance, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support, and valuable referrals to healthcare services. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we have adapted by providing remote appointments to ensure accessibility for all eligible participants, including those newly affected by the pandemic.
