Emergency Food in Jacksonville, OR, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need throughout Ashland, Talent, and nearby rural communities. We understand the challenges that the unemployed, under-employed, students, seniors, and homeless individuals face, which is why we strive to make accessing emergency food simple and compassionate. Approximately 25% of those we serve are children under 18 years old. Signing up is straightforward; just visit us with proof of your residency, such as a driver's license or a utility bill that shows your current address. For travelers, we offer a 'Traveler Bag' on your first visit, and after 30 days, you're welcome to shop monthly. We prioritize accessibility and are here to support those in need, whether you have identification or not. Our doors are open Monday through Friday, the first Saturday of each month, and on the fourth Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Join us in our mission to alleviate hunger and ensure nourishment for everyone in our community.
