Located in Junction City, OR, the Gardens Program offers Seed to Supper™, a complimentary vegetable gardening course designed to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge to grow their own food on a budget. Participants engage in hands-on learning led by trained volunteer educators, with sessions primarily held indoors and visits to local gardens whenever possible. Completing the course equips students with a comprehensive booklet, seeds, organic compost, and fertilizers to support their gardening journey. Course topics include site and soil development, garden planning, planting techniques, nurturing growing plants, and harvesting the fruits of their labor.
