About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Klamath Falls, OR, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become advocates for a just food system through comprehensive training and hands-on experience. Our fellowship offers an immersive six-month program that includes organic food system education, where selected fellows gain practical skills on a market-style farm, learn to manage community gardens, and help develop innovative healthcare education initiatives. Our commitment to accessibility means there is no tuition fee, fostering inclusive participation. Fellows also engage in growing and distributing diverse crops, supporting farmers markets, and mentoring future leaders in food and ecological literacy. After the initial training, fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their knowledge within local non-profit partnerships to enhance access to healthy foods and support community-led food coalitions. Applications are accepted until March each year, with program activities from May to October.
