The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Molalla, OR, is dedicated to cultivating knowledge and leadership among aspiring advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. This innovative program offers comprehensive education in organic farming practices and empowers Fellows to engage with their communities through hands-on experiences. Our Fellows play a vital role in growing and distributing diverse crops, developing local farmer's markets, and forging connections to enhance food access. By participating in workshops that promote food and ecological literacy, they not only enhance their understanding of sustainable practices but also support school gardens and local health initiatives. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility to ensure that individuals from all backgrounds can contribute to positive change. Each Fellow embarks on a transformative six-month residency on our farm before embarking on a Community Action Year, applying their learning alongside partner non-profits to make lasting impacts in their communities. Applications are due in March for a program that runs from May to October, offering a unique opportunity to be part of our mission of social, environmental, and economic justice in the food system.
