The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Newberg, OR, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. We empower our Fellows with hands-on training and education in organic food systems, ensuring they are equipped to lead initiatives that promote social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program spans six months of immersive experience at our Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where Fellows collaborate with local non-profit organizations to implement meaningful projects. From growing diversified crops to enhancing food literacy in schools, our Fellows engage in a wide array of activities, including supporting farmers markets and developing crucial distribution channels for healthy food access. We proudly offer this opportunity without tuition fees, reinforcing our commitment to accessibility and community-driven solutions. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May through October.
