About Oregon Project Independence (OPI)

Oregon Project Independence (OPI) serves the Newberg, OR community with a mission to empower individuals over 60, as well as those with dementia or disabilities, to live safely and independently in their own homes. Our comprehensive program offers a wide range of essential services, including personal care assistance, home care, chore services, and access to assistive technology devices. Additionally, we provide adult day care, respite care, skilled nursing care, and nutritious home-delivered meals, all tailored to support your unique needs. Understanding the financial challenges our clients may face, we offer a Sliding Scale Fee Schedule, ensuring that costs are based on monthly household income minus medical expenses. Once you reach out to us, you will connect with a trained staff member from the Area Agency on Aging, who will schedule a home visit to assess your needs and eligibility for our services. Together, we will create a personalized care plan to help you maintain your independence.
