About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Pendleton, OR, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our Fellowship emphasizes accessibility, with no tuition fees for participants. Over six months, selected Fellows engage in hands-on learning and experiential education at our farm, focusing on organic food systems. This includes growing diversified crops, implementing innovative health education sessions, maintaining community gardens, and fostering food and ecological literacy in local schools. After their immersive training, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to apply their knowledge and support community food initiatives. We invite aspiring advocates to empower their local food systems by applying before the March deadline for a transformative experience from May to October.
