The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Rainier, OR is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates and educators committed to a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. Our fellowship equips participants with organic food system education and hands-on experience, fostering a community of change-makers who grow and distribute diverse crops while enriching local food access. Through partnerships with community organizations, our Fellows engage in vital initiatives such as maintaining community gardens, implementing innovative health education, and promoting food literacy in schools. Over the course of six months of immersive training followed by a Community Action Year, selected Fellows work collaboratively to enhance food systems within the region, all without the burden of tuition costs, ensuring the Fellowship is accessible to all. Applications are accepted until March each year, with experiences running from May to October.
