The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Rogue River, OR, is dedicated to cultivating advocates for a just food system through comprehensive education in organic farming and community engagement. We empower Fellows with hands-on training that emphasizes social, environmental, and economic justice in food production. This tuition-free program invites participants to immerse themselves in experiential learning at our renowned farm, equipping them with the tools to grow diverse crops, run community gardens, and implement health education initiatives. Our Fellows also engage in meaningful activities, such as supporting farmers' markets, enhancing food access, and mentoring future leaders in the field. The Fellowship culminates with a Community Action Year, where former Fellows collaborate with local nonprofits to apply their knowledge and foster food resilience in the region. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
