Oregon WIC, located in Salem, OR, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program, we provide essential services including nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion, and health care referrals. In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure safety by offering WIC appointments via phone, email, and video chat. Additionally, we have expanded eligibility criteria and purchasing options to better serve those affected by the crisis. Our mission is to support families in building healthy habits and ensuring adequate nutrition during critical early years.
