About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Scappoose, OR is dedicated to developing the next generation of advocates for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. We empower Fellows through a comprehensive program that includes organic food system education, hands-on training, and community engagement, all at no tuition cost to ensure accessibility. Participants will immerse themselves in a six-month experiential learning journey on our farm, where they will grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health care education, maintain community gardens, and foster food and ecological literacy in local schools. Our Fellows also mentor future cohorts and collaborate with regional non-profit organizations during their Community Action Year, driving impactful change in local food systems and expanding access to healthy, sustainable food options. Applications are typically due in March for experiences running from May to October.
