The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Scio, OR, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Our program empowers selected Fellows through comprehensive training in organic food systems, providing hands-on experiences that span six months at our picturesque farm campus. During this immersive fellowship, participants engage in diversified crop cultivation, educational outreach, and community gardening, all aimed at promoting food literacy and improving access to healthy food. Post-fellowship, participants enter a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to put their training into practice, whether it's supporting farmers markets or developing programs that enhance community health through food education. We ensure this opportunity is accessible to all by waiving tuition fees, making it possible for passionate individuals to join us in our mission for social, environmental, and economic justice in food systems.
